Australia Zoo Habitats and Attractions

Here at Australia Zoo, we take great pride in creating habitats that not only allow our guests to see and experience our animals up close but are also spacious, stimulating and fun for our animals to live and play in. The fun doesn’t stop there! We also have some must-see attractions for children and families to enjoy. Australia zoo is your one-stop destination for FUN!

Below are just some of the habitats and attractions that we are most proud of. Some of our habitats are works of art, architectural firsts, and 5-star accommodation for our animals and are unlike anything seen around the world. Each one of them is the brainchild of the one-and-only Steve Irwin; they were conceived in his mind and brought to life by the talented crew of designers, artists, builders and horticulturalists that he hand-picked and supervised. They are his dreams brought to life and we are extremely proud to present them to you. Come and see these truly stunning and adventurous habitats and attractions in person at Australia Zoo… you just won’t believe your eyes!

Steve's dream was to build an African Safari Park, where animals roam free in open plains and state-of-the-art, walk-through habitats; where the public can watch these animals interact as they would in the wild; and where people can have their own unique experiences with these wonderful animals.
