Australia Zoo’s crocodile research trip takes place on the stunning Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve every year for the month of August. During this time, a team of scientists from The University of Queensland and Australia Zoo’s croc experts work together to determine new information about these incredible apex predators to aid in the conservation of both the species and their habitat.

This research teaches us about the animals’ behaviour and movement patterns, ultimately helping us to protect people and crocodilians around the world. In order to keep this vital research project alive, we are calling on you!
