For over half a decade, Australia Zoo’s Crikey! Magazine Photography Competition has encouraged the conservation of wildlife and wild places through photography. Every year, the ever-growing competition welcomes thousands of images from avid photographers around the globe. Photographs celebrate the rich diversity of life on Earth and inspire action to protect it for the future generations.

We are delighted to be running the People’s Choice Competition again this year, featuring a selection of memorable images from shortlisting. We now ask the public to help select the winner, highly commended and three finalists by voting below.

Voting is live from 14th October till Sunday 19th October 2025.
People’s Choice winners are announced 23rd October 2025 on Australia Zoo’s social media.
