‘I Love Glossies‘
Most nights you will find ‘Glossy Bob’ & I observing our local glossy black cockatoo flock as they drink at their local water hole. I photograph and observe their behaviours so that we can better understand these magnificent birds.
Sometimes they even give me close up fly-by’s like this female glossy.

‘Wedge-tailed Watchtower‘
Bathed in the soft glow of early morning light, a wedge-tailed eagle perches on a termite mound, scanning the vast outback in search of prey. These majestic birds are Australia’s largest bird of prey!

‘In the Glint of an Eye‘
I saw a pond with lots of reeds and I knew wildlife would be hiding amongst them. When I looked closer, I realised the reeds were moving, small frogs filled the pond! I love this photo because you can see the world in the reflection of the frog’s eye.

‘The Circle of Life‘
While photographing this puffin, I decided to focus my camera on the fish in their beak to showcase the circle of life. These sand eels are an important food source for many seabirds, and puffins will often carry multiple fish back to their burrows to feed their hungry chicks.

Here is a photo of a majestic male lion in the early morning sun on the Masai Mara plains in Kenya. I remember the feeling I had taking this photo when he looked right at me whilst walking towards the truck… just breathtaking!
