International Tiger Day
Australia Zoo and Wildlife Warriors continue to play a vital role in raising funds and increasing awareness for local and global conservation initiatives that help protect the Sumatran Tiger. On International Tiger Day, we shine a light on the urgent need to safeguard this endangered species and highlight our ongoing commitment to ensuring the future of these magnificent apex predators.

Designed to reflect an ancient Southeast Asian temple, the Tiger Temple at Australia Zoo provides a lush and enriching habitat where our magnificent big cats can roam, play and cool off with a swim. These water-loving felines can dive, splash and enjoy their surroundings throughout the year.

Contribute to Conservation
Tigers once dominated the dense forests of Sumatra. Their natural ability to hunt made them invincible to almost all predators. Devastatingly, poaching has left fewer than 400 alive today. Your support, through Wildlife Warriors, supports multiple teams of Tiger Protection and Conservation Units in Sumatra. Only together we can truly protect these majestic animals! Visit Tiger Temple and tap to donate $2 to support our tiger conservation program.
Adopt a Tiger
You can support our conservation efforts through our Adopt an Animal program. By adopting one of Australia Zoo’s animals, you’ll not only have the satisfaction of knowing you’re making a real difference, but you’ll also receive a range of special gifts as a thank you for your contribution.
Adopt Sage, Nelson or Hunter today and help support vital wildlife conservation initiatives.
