International Tiger Day

Australia Zoo and Wildlife Warriors are taking the lead raising vital funds and spreading awareness to support local and global conservation efforts to help protect the Sumatran Tiger species. On International Tiger Day, we turn the spotlight on the desperate fight for survival and our ongoing mission to protect these majestic apex predators.

Visit our Tiger Temple

Built to represent an ancient Southeast Asian temple, the Tiger Temple at Australia Zoo offers a lush environment for our majestic big cats to roam, frolic, and take a dip! Our dedicated tiger keepers go above and beyond to ensure our tigers stay engaged and stimulated. They provide an extensive variety of toys and a spacious swimming pool, allowing the water-loving felines to dive in and create a splash throughout the year.

Contribute to Conservation

Tigers once dominated the dense forests of Sumatra. Their natural ability to hunt made them invincible to almost all predators. Devastatingly, poaching has left fewer than 400 alive today. Your support, through Wildlife Warriors, supports multiple teams of Tiger Protection and Conservation Units in Sumatra. Only together we can truly protect these majestic animals! Visit Tiger Temple and tap to donate $2 to support our tiger conservation program.

Adopt a Tiger

You can support our conservation efforts through our Adopt an Animal program. By adopting one of Australia Zoo’s animals, not only do you have the satisfaction of knowing you are making a difference, but you will also receive gifts of appreciation according to your level of contribution.
