This Croc’s beautiful taupe coloured complexion was the very reason he received his name, Sandy! Found in our new downstream trap, along with lots of the other big crocs added in 2023, Sandy measured in at 13’ 1/2 “. Previously, Sandy had been spotted in the river, sneakily watching us as we awaited patiently at the trap. After dreaming about meeting this big guy, we finally were able to tag him!
