An interesting name for an interesting croc! Morag was originally added to our study in 2013 as a hand capture and the reason for her name was never noted down. From our research, Morag is a female name of Scottish origin and also a planet in the Marvel Universe. Nonetheless, it was wonderful to see Morag again to give her a new acoustic tracker and a satellite tracker. Being able to watch Morag with a satellite tracker is such an exciting time for our study as there is so much more to learn about female crocodiles.
