It was truly such a special experience meeting Gertler for the first time during our 2025 family week up on the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve. A chance for members of our croc team to show their loved ones what our crocodile research trip is all about! Gertler was named after a special zoo family and with a satellite and acoustic tracker on board, he will be able to provide us with years worth of data for our study.
