This boy must have messed with the wrong croc! When Blake was added to our research, we noted many injuries that he likely sustained fighting with other larger crocodiles. He had large gashes on his tail, a broken leg and was missing a toe. Tracking data on these younger males is incredibly important as we learn about the hierarchy of the river system.
