This special crocodile is named after Madga Szubanski, Logie winning actress who you can also spot in the movie “The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course”. It is so special when we find out that a croc is a new addition to our study, but especially when it is a female! Female additions like Magda help us to fill in unknown gaps about female saltwater crocodiles including movements and breeding habits. We can’t wait to follow her for many years to come!
