The First Aid Department predominately undertakes the initial management of workers and guests suffering from injury and/or illness and escalate to emergency services when applicable.

This role is seeking an applicant who has a demonstrated ability to work well in high pressure situations and communicate effectively.

Duties Include: 

• Undertaking initial treatment of injuries and/or illnesses.
• Recording details of first aid provided.
• Attend keeper talks, demonstrations and shows providing customer service and crowd control when required.
• Ordering supplies and equipment – checking all invoices on receipt.
• Daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance of first aid rooms and first aid kits as scheduled.
• Assist with guest questions regarding first aid and general customer service.

Essential Criteria: 

• Current First Aid (HLTAID011), CPR (HLTAID009) and Advanced Resuscitation Treatment (HLTAID015)
• Flexibility and availability to work weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
• A demonstrated ability of good judgement and the ability to make well informed decisions under pressure.
