Official Welcome Ceremony

Starting at 9am, join us for the Official Welcome Ceremony on the Cameron the Croc Lawn. There will be roaming animals and a special Welcome to Country by Gubbi Gubbi to kick start the day followed by Emma Memma’s induction into the Australia Zoo Walk of Fame!

Wildlife Warriors Conservation Mission

Team up with your friends and family to discover some incredible animal conservation projects and learn how you can become a Wildlife Warrior! Follow the clues around the Zoo to find all four special projects and collect a Wildlife Warriors wristband at each location! Woo-hoo!

Emma Memma performs LIVE!

Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to twirl along to an exciting special performance from Emma Memma and her Memma mates! Catch them LIVE in our Containers for Change Crocoseum at 12:45pm before all the slithering, swooping, jaw-snapping action of our Wildlife Warriors show.

Conservation Conversations

Join UQ Professor of Zoology Craig Franklin for our Conservation Conversations at 3:30pm at Crikey! Cafe. Learn about the research conducted on the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve and how this study continues to break new ground in crocodile research globally. 

Giant Inflatable Obstacle Course

Hop, skip and bounce through the giant inflatable obstacle course! Located on the Outdoor Learning Center lawn from 8am – 1pm and 2pm- 3:30pm. This FREE activity is open to children aged 4 – 12 years old.

Free Skin Checks

Get your skin checked for FREE! Our friends at the Australian Skin Cancer Foundation are bringing their mission to save lives from skin cancer to Australia Zoo! Visit their life-changing Skin Check Truck all day* near Cameron, our 8.2-metre crocodile statue.
