Dad Vs Dad Challenge
Think Dad has what it takes to conquer a giant inflatable obstacle course? Put him to the test in our annual Dad vs Dad Challenge!
Register your Dad at Guest Services before 12:30pm for their chance to race, with some seriously epic prizes up for grabs.
The fastest Dad will score the ultimate camping prize pack, including an Oztent RV-5 Plus and two King Goanna Hotspot Chairs, valued at over $2,300!

Giant Inflatable Obstacle Course
Get ready to bounce, jump and zoom your way through our giant inflatable obstacle course! Suitable for children aged 4–15 years, and participation is FREE with paid admission from 9:30am–1pm and 3pm–4pm.
Fantastic Fathers Animal Trail
Celebrate some of Australia Zoo’s incredible fathers with a Zoo-wide family adventure! Follow the clues to learn about some of the amazing animal Dads that call Australia Zoo home.
Koala Throwing Competition*
Join us from 9:30am for a fun-filled challenge where kids and Dads can take aim and put their throwing skills to the test! See who can get their cute plush koala closest to the target for the chance to win an adorable Australia Zoo koala plushie to take home as the perfect Father’s Day surprise.
*Don’t worry, the koalas aren’t real!
Little Builders Workshop
Join us for a delightful arts and crafts session with Dad. Prepare to unleash creativity using wooden pieces and craft supplies, letting the kids create their own imaginative structures. This FREE activity is open 9am-1pm and 2pm-4pm and is perfect for children aged 4 to 12, ensuring a fantastic time as they bond creatively with Dad. Plus, take home their craft creation as a memento of the day!

Does your Dad joke have everyone laughing their socks off? Stop by the Laughing Frog lolly shop to submit your best Dad joke for the chance to win a ripper prize pack!

From 9am – 1pm & 2pm – 4pm at Crikey Cafe, sit down with one of our popular local illustrators and have your family turned into a hilarious caricature!
These wildly outlandish drawings are guaranteed to get plenty of laughs and make the perfect keepsake for you and Dad.

Make sure your little ones are safe and secure on every journey. A team of experienced child restraint fitters will be on hand to check your child’s car seat FREE of charge.
