Teacher Sneak Peek

A Teacher Sneak Peek is a unique opportunity for teachers planning to bring a group to the Zoo. Things might have changed since you were last here, so to ensure your group gets the most our of their visit we recommend that you check out the Zoo first. We can arrange free entry, providing the opportunity to view our facility, as well as the opportunity to meet with the Education staff should you wish to discuss excursion options. Schoolyard Warriors Conservation Challenge

The second annual Schoolyard Warriors Conservation Challenge has now opened!

The 2008 inaugural challenge outreached to schools on the Sunshine Coast in a first of its kind program, aimed at bringing together school communities by encouraging the implementation of an environmental project at their school.

By showing students how easy it is for them to make a difference to our environment, we can take a step towards ensuring our future generations are consciously aware of how and why we need to look after our world.

Due to its success, the challenge has re-opened in 2009 this time to schools across Queensland and it’s your chance to enter to show how you are making a difference. Plus, you could win some awesome prizes!
