Check out all the programs we have on offer and select one for your group (or you may choose to make your own way around the Zoo).

Step 2.

Call the Group Bookings Co-ordinator on (07) 5436 2025 with these details ready:

  • Date of visit
  • Contact name of teacher in charge of excursion
  • School address, phone number, fax and email
  • Estimated times of arrival and departure
  • Approximate number of students and their grade
  • Approximate number of supervising adults (please see Free Of Charge policy)
  • Which Tribe Talk/Walkabout Tour/Discovery Experience you would like for your group (if applicable)

Step 3.

The Group Bookings Co-ordinator will send you a confirmation of your booking.

Free Of Charge Policy

Kindergarten to Year 2 

1 Adult Free for every 5 children

Year 3 to Year 9 

1 Adult Free for every 10 children

Years 10, 11, 12

1 Adult Free for every 15 children

Tertiary 

1 Adult Free for every 15 students

International Students

1 Adult Free for every 10 students

Terms and Conditions

  • One lump sum payment must be made to be eligible for the group rate.
  • All listed times and prices are subject to change.
  • Bus drivers are admitted free of charge.
  • Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Patrons may be filmed while they are in the zoo. Entry constitutes permission for any appearance in all media throughout the world.
  • No alcohol is to be brought onto Zoo property. Inebriated patrons will not be permitted to enter.
  • Patrons acting in a dangerous or disruptive manner will be asked to leave immediately.
  • Items that may endanger our animals are forbidden at Australia Zoo. These include balls, balloons, toys which involve projectiles, water pistols, skateboards or skates.
